Privacy Policy
This policy explains how HB Executive Designs (a sole trader graphic design business in Oldham) uses personal data on this website. It is written for UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who is responsible
The data controller is HB Executive Designs, trading in Oldham. This is not a limited company. Contact about privacy by WhatsApp on 07935 709797 or email enquires@hbexecutivedesigns.uk.
What this site is for
The site describes graphic design services, shows examples of work, and lets you enquire by WhatsApp, email or the quote form.
Data I may hold
When you use the quote form
The form asks for your name, email address, WhatsApp number, Instagram username (optional), preferred contact method, the type of design, project details, a completion date, whether you want print, print materials if relevant, and any extra comments. That information is emailed to HB Executive Designs so I can quote and reply. It is not used to build a marketing list or sold on.
When you message
If you use WhatsApp, I receive the number you use and the content of the conversation (your brief, names of events, file notes, and anything else you choose to send). If you email enquires@hbexecutivedesigns.uk, I receive your address and the content of the message. That information is used to quote for work and to carry out the job.
When you visit the website
The hosting server may record standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, date and time of the request, and the page requested. These logs exist to run and protect the site. They are not used to build marketing profiles.
When you follow a link off this site
WhatsApp is provided by Meta. Instagram is provided by Meta. The TikTok link goes to TikTok. Google Maps and Google Fonts are provided by Google. Those services have their own privacy notices. I do not control how they process data once you leave this site or once their tools load.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Essential cookies may be created by the hosting environment to deliver the page. Google Fonts and Google Maps may set cookies on their own domains if you load those third-party resources.
Legal bases
- Legitimate interests: answering enquiries, quoting, delivering design work, and keeping the website secure.
- Contract: where I agree to produce work for you.
- Legal obligation: keeping records where tax or other law requires it.
How long I keep data
Enquiry messages that do not become a job are kept only as long as needed to reply, then deleted from day-to-day use. Job files and invoices are kept for as long as needed to finish the work and to meet bookkeeping rules, then removed or archived with restricted access. Server logs are kept for a short period set by the host.
Who I share data with
I do not sell personal data. I may share what is needed with:
- the website host, so the site can run
- printers or other suppliers you have asked me to brief, if a job requires it
- Meta, if you choose WhatsApp or Instagram
- TikTok, if you follow the TikTok link
- Google, if you load Maps or Fonts
- the police or a regulator, if the law requires it
Transfers outside the UK
WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Google Fonts and Google Maps may process data outside the UK. Those companies publish their own transfer safeguards. I do not operate servers in other countries myself.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and you can ask for a copy in a portable form where that right applies. To use these rights, contact HB Executive Designs on 07935 709797 (WhatsApp) or enquires@hbexecutivedesigns.uk.
You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is aimed at adults commissioning design work. I do not knowingly collect data from children through the website. Invitation briefs that mention a child’s name or age are treated as part of the adult client’s job files.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated text will be posted on this page with a new date.
